Sometimes I wonder is there ever an end to creation. I remember sometime ago when the company 3M was researching a certain kind of glue that really was not amounting to anything good. The glue was sticky but not abrasive and strong enough to bind and hold objects together.
On one occasion, one of the researcher, who sang in a choir was in need of something that he could use to separate music pages but not damage the pages. So he decided to use this shabby glue to paste on small strips of paper that could be removable. So he tried using the failed glue. It worked perfectly and thus, “Posted Notes” were born, boosting 3M’s powerful brand and generating billions in revenue. AI did not particularly follow this path but surely is in its infancy toward greatness.
